Avalon presents the Friday Supper Club – our weekly night of live music, hearty food and classic cocktails!

Each Friday night, we present local acts – free of charge – who provide music-to-dine-to in our fabulous art-deco surroundings.

Featured acts include Blue Mountains favourites Jazz Daiquiri, Kate Woolfe Trio, The Orchard Boat, Willem Sherlock Roorda, Frazer, Ireland & Russell, The Three-Handed Beat Bandits, Mataya, John and Yuki plus many more.

Yuki Kumagai and John Mackie play and sing smooth jazz, a popular mix of jazz standards and some latin hits. Yuki sings and plays piano, flute , harmonica and ukulele, while John plays guitar and saxophone.

The ever-popular Kate Woolfe Trio is back. Featuring the smooth vocals of Kate Woolfe, with Tim Bruer on piano and Dave Clayton on upright bass.

Australian violinist Simon Watts and French singer/guitarist Julien Clement team up for an evening of classic French chansons and an assortment of Hot Club swing jazz in the style of Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli.

Jazz Daiquiri features the beautiful voice of Robyn Gordon, Karl Javernig on guitar and Martyn Cook on saxophones, flute, clarinet and trumpet, serving up the everything from the coolest Latin sambas and swinging jazz standards, to soulful blues and ballads, all delivered with style and class.

Mataya delivers a warm and honest performance, combining her upbringing as a jazz vocalist/pianist with modern neo soul and urban feels. She often performs with her father, saxophonist Micky Young, whose soaring emotive spirit and honest approach to performance has gained the respect of musicians and audiences around the country.
