It’s High Tea Time!

We cordially invite you to partake in our fabulous old-fashioned High Tea, served every weekend from 12 o’clock.

It's tea time at the Avalon and we've been busy putting together a delectable selection of home-made treats for you to enjoy in our fabulous surroundings. 

Start your High Tea with a cheeky glass of bubbles, followed by a delicious selection of savouries, fluffy lemonade scones topped with lashings of jam and cream, and sweet treats, served on a fancy triple tiered plate. Choose from a selection of local teas or coffee.

High Tea is served in our charming art-deco dining room with lovely views over Leura and the Jamison Valley.


Sparkling High Tea

Start with a cheeky glass of bubbles, prosecco, pink moscato or non-alcoholic sparkling cider.

Enjoy a delicious selection of homemade savoury and sweet treats served on a three-tier stand. Freshly baked lemonade scones with homemade jam and thick dollop cream.

Accompanied by your choice of premium tea by Blue Mountains Tea Company or coffee by Blue Mountains Coffee Roasters.

Gin & Tea

It’s High Tea with twist! Enjoy a fabulous three-tiered afternoon tea - including a delicious selection of house-made savouries, scones and sweet treats - served with glass teapots filled with your choice of delightful gin cocktails, rather than tea. Weekends from midday.

$79 per person


Mother’s Day High Tea

Spoil mum this Mother's Day with a Sparkling High Tea at Avalon. We’re getting out the good plates, our favourite fancy china tea cups and baking up a storm - with live piano by Sy Dyson - to make sure it’s a mother’s day to remember.

$85 per person


BOOKING POLICY: 

Pre-payment is required for High Tea bookings. Refunds will not be given for booking cancellations with less than 24 hours notice, or for no-shows on the day.

Our High Tea items change from week to week and may not be the same as those pictured. Please notify us of any dietary requirements e.g. gluten free, vegetarian, at the time of booking. Sorry, we cannot cater for vegan/dairy free.

A surcharge of 15% applies on public holidays.
