So Retro and Quirky - There is so much to see and take in here. An old cinema that has been converted to a restaurant. Every corner has some thing to look at & chat about ... even in the bathroom. Food was great, staff were great & we are looking forward to going back to try the licorice cheese cake
This funky old theatre turned restaurant was a delightful surprise. Not only was the home cooked style food delicious, the portions were large, which is unusual these days. Good value for money. The restaurant itself is warm, inviting and retro. We ate early so we missed out on the live music but I’m sure that would have put a cherry on top of a nice experience. Will definitely be back.
Most interesting Katoomba (Blue Mountains) restaurant, wonderful relaxed atmosphere with delicious food.
Atmosphere, food, service wins! - No worries with Gluten Free choices for Celiac me. The service was friendly, capable and very low key. The food was tasty well prepared and the serves large. What we had we were very happy with. However the standout was the restaurant itself. The location and decoration and especially the ambience was fantastic. The mismatched cutlery and glasses, the memorabilia and the art all added to a really comfortable, funky and very art deco vibe that my wife and I appreciated. The staff clearly love the place as well and dressed not in a uniform but in “vintage” or at least in keeping with the theme and that was like icing on a cake.
Took a trip to grandma’s house - Walked in with no reservation on a Saturday night with a toddler, placed in a spot where we hopefully wouldn’t disturb other dinners which was great for us as it made it less stressful. The decor made me feel like I’d walked into my dead grandmas house and I loved it. The food was surprisingly good and my chocolate truffle cake dessert was delicious. The toilets were a visual treat too. Would definitely recommend
