Matthew Dennett is a pianist, accordionist, composer and improviser who draws inspiration from the jazz, blues and classical repertoire. Matt’s compositions and improvisations are diversely influenced by the gypsy jazz repertoire, Vince Guaraldi’s jazz piano music and the romantic piano works of Chopin and Mendelssohn to name a few.
George Gerontakos’ musical career spans rock, classical and jazz, being dedicated to the latter since forming the Mountain Jazz Trio in 2004 with Steve Jewell and becoming house band at New Ivanhoe Hotel up till recently. George also collaborates extensively with both local and interstate musicians.
A chance meeting with Matthew Dennett some years ago also gave opportunity to create a unique musical duo.

A cover charge of $15 per person supports the musicians and reserves your seat for the evening. Bookings essential as there’s only 18 seats per show.
