MTNS MADE Salon: Digital Ecology and Sewnup

  • Avalon 18 Katoomba Street Katoomba, NSW, 2780 Australia (map)

At this month’s MTNS MADE Salon, we have two special guests sharing about their creative projects in the Blue Mountains and tips on applying for grants.

Fiona Davies, President of Modern Arts Projects (MAP) Blue Mountains will discuss the upcoming project Sewnup that received some City of the Arts Trust funding. Fiona will share details about the project itself in addition to insights to applying for project funding.

Justin Morrissey, founder of TOOLO will explore 'Digital Ecology' as a concept and what the latest program running in the Blue Mountains entails - we will be joined by current participants of the program to delve into their experience and learnings. The project received funding from Create NSW and we will be asking Justin for his insights into how to approach funding opportunities.

About the MTNS MADE Salon

The MTNS MADE Salon is a not-networking night, designed for people who hate to network. On the 3rd Wednesday of every month, creative business people and freelancers get together in the safe and friendly environment of the Avalon Cocktail Bar. It’s all the good bits of networking (meeting people, being inspired) without any of the bad parts.

Get in touch if you would like to share your project or process and to contribute to one of the most vibrant creative communities in Australia.
