In the lead up to the inaugural Blue Mountains Writer’s Festival this month MTNS MADE have teamed up with Varuna, the National Writers’ House to create a very special Fringe event for this month’s MTNS MADE Salon.
Three international residents of Varuna will be joining us in to discuss their work with our MTNS MADE creatives. A trifecta – a script writer, a poet and a novelist will be joining us in a Q&A style evening of creative exploration.
Join us and engage with the talented Lauren Mackenzie of ScriptEast. Award-winning Tishani Doshi and writer, creative writing tutor and book reviewer Victoria MacKenzie. These evenings are very much about sharing from a personal as well as professional perspective and are always a mix of inspiration and education.
The inaugural Blue Mountains Writers’ Festival is a celebration of place, writers, writing and reading. Mountains Writers’ Festival will celebrate the unique qualities of the Blue Mountains environment, including our spectacular physical surroundings and our talented artistic community.
The Festival is hosted by Varuna, the National Writers’ House and proudly supported by MTNS MADE.
About the MTNS MADE Salon
The MTNS MADE Salon is a not-networking night, designed for people who hate to network. On the 3rd Wednesday of every month, creative business people and freelancers just like you get together in the safe and friendly environment of the Avalon Cocktail Bar. It’s all the good bits of networking (meeting people, being inspired) without any of the bad parts.
