Join Ernest in the Avalon Cocktail Lounge every first Monday of the month for Hemingway’s Polydactyl Kitten Club and Speakeasy - an evening of spoken word, poetry and readings of new work.

Each event will feature a guest artist as well as opportunities for floor performers to share their words. Young readers encouraged.

This month’s special guest is illustrator, cartoonist, author, editor, artist, Katoomba resident and Manly supporter, Tohby Riddle. Tohby will share some of his work and thoughts at the Kitten Club on Monday 4th November, from 7pm.

As always, floor spots are available, so if you've ever wanted to get behind a microphone to share something you've written, or even just tell a story or read something great written by someone else, this is your opportunity to do it in front of a welcoming and generous audience. Entry is $10 ($5 concession) and we will have gift vouchers from The Little Lost Bookshop to give away as door prizes.
