Coronavirus update
It's business as usual in very unusual times...
To our Avalon guests, friends & family,
As the situation around Coronavirus (Covid-19) continues to develop, we want to assure you that the wellbeing of our guests, team and suppliers is extremely important to us.
We also want to let you know what additional precautions we're taking to ensure your health and safety, so you can feel comfortable to continue to visit us at Avalon.
What we're doing:
We’re following the Covid-19 Best Practice Guidelines set out by the Restaurant & Catering Industry Association and NSW Government.
We've adjusted our table and seating layout to support 1.5m social distancing guidelines.
As per government guidelines, all of our staff wear masks during service.
All guests are required to ‘check in’ using the Service NSW app or website.
We're limiting available bookings to ensure our capacity of guests meets the one person per four square metres rule.
We provide hand sanitiser and anti-microbial hand wash throughout the venue, for all of our staff and customers.
We’re providing laminated menus which are sanitised between use, and digital menus for guests to view on their smart phone.
We promote the recommendations for unwell individuals to isolate at home and not attend.
We’re maintaining the guideline that an individual’s attendance should be less than two hours duration.
We provide clear guidelines for guests and employees regarding staying safe.
We maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and sanitation throughout the venue.
We're a registered Covid Safe business with a regularly updated Covid Safe plan.
We're closely monitoring NSW Health guidelines on the direction we need to take.
What you can do:
Cover your coughs and sneezes with your elbow or a tissue
Wash your hands often with soap and water
Use alcohol-based hand sanitisers
If you are sick, stay home and stay more than 1.5 metres away from people
Use contactless payments, i.e card, phone, watch rather than cash
Support Local:
There's no doubt that there are continuing tough times ahead for local businesses, who provide employment opportunities, and make valuable contributions to our local community.
During this challenging time, we encourage you to continue to support our local businesses - together we can make a difference and help each other through.
At Avalon, we are monitoring the situation around Coronavirus and will continue to adapt our business in order to support our staff, entertainers and suppliers.
In the meantime, we thank you for your continuing support, and hope to see you soon!
Regards,
Dylan, David and the Avalon team
